Astro Cat is the out-of-this-world alter ego of Shea, a tattoo artist and illustrator, coming to you from their star base of operations in the mountains of North Carolina.

They have been tattooing full-time since 2017, but art of all kinds has always been their passion, and they graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2014 with a BFA in Sequential Art.  (That's comic and storyboard art, for any earthlings!)

Shea's passsion is connection through art, especially in fandom and queer spaces, where marginalized people can come together and see their interests celebrated.  They strive to maintain a whole galaxy of creative pursuits to meet this goal -- fine line and illustrative tattoos at their studio in Asheville, NC; stickers, prints, buttons, pins, and keychains at comic connventions and craft fairs all across the Southeast; and now a cosmic apparel line blasting off right here on Big Cartel!

Expect to see all the things they love here... space (duh!), cats (obviously!), corgis, pride (trans lives matter!), pop culture (don't get them started on anime), and all kinds of fine line and botanical illustrations.  They can't wait to join you on this rocket ship to the stars!
